This digital toolkit was created by the Ending Violence Association of Canada (EVA Canada) to help our partners and allies increase stakeholder and public awareness during Sexual Violence Prevention Month (May 2023) of the increased demand for services to support survivors of sexual violence.
The contents of the digital toolkit also help highlight the need for permanent and predictable funding for sexual violence organizations, services, and prevention efforts in Canada.
As part of your outreach and engagement activities you can boost the impact of the toolkit by adding your own key message(s) when sharing the information from the toolkit in your graphics on social media, in emails to members of your networks, on your website and in your printed materials.
The digital toolkit features a series of ‘shareable’ graphics you can choose from to promote Sexual Violence Prevention Month electronically.
You may opt to post a single graphic, with a plan to release more or the whole series over several days, as EVA Canada is doing on its Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn channels. (You may also choose to share and retweet EVA Canada’s posts as another way to help spread the word about this important public health and gender justice issue that affects millions of Canadians.)
