In keeping with public health and government orders for social distancing, the Ending Violence Association of Canada staff are working from home. Our physical office space will be closed until further notice. To contact us during this time, please do so through our individual emails or at info@endingviolencecanada.org.
Across Canada, sexual assault centres, women’s shelters, and transition houses are finding creative ways to continue to provide services during the COVID-19 pandemic. While some organizations may be offering changes to how they regularly deliver services, they are still there to provide support to you if you are experiencing or at-risk of violence. If you or someone you know needs support, you can find the contact information for crisis and support lines, sexual assault centres, and shelters in or near your community here.
During the COVID-19 pandemic the Ending Violence Association of Canada will continue to advocate for the rights and safety of individuals impacted by gender-based violence, including sexual violence. We will also continue to support the many advocates, social workers, counsellors, shelter and transition house staff, and volunteers who are on the front-lines of this pandemic working to ensure the safety of those impacted by gender-based violence.
