EVA Canada signs letter on the use of a restorative approach to an inquiry into the Nova Scotia mass shooting

EVA Canada along with over twenty organizations across Canada working to reduce and eliminate gender-based violence signed a letter submitted to the federal and Nova Scotia provincial governments opposing the use of a restorative approach to an inquiry into the mass shooting in Nova Scotia.

EVA Canada has also submitted a letter underlining its support for this joint letter, and expressing its solidarity with families of the victims, anti-violence organizations and advocates, academics and legal scholars with expertise in femicide and gender-based violence for an independent, public inquiry.
