These two short video highlight the Be More Than A Bystander Program, and the CFL’s partnership with the Ending Violence Association of Canada. Launched in 2015, the ground breaking partnership aims to increase awareness about gender based violence in Canada by providing training to all players, all coaches and all staff of every CFL team about to the CFL’s national policy on preventing and responding to violence against women, and providing strategies on how everyone can speak up and break the silence.
Six CFL teams have now joined the effort to end gender-based violence. The vast majority of men don’t commit violence, but can make a huge difference by speaking up to minority that do.
